Whirl Goes Sunbathing Again

Much as I would love to deconstruct the previous post, thereby assisting confused spectral hogs the world over, necessity forces me to pack socks and shirts, waterproofs and bathing trunks, scuba gear and anti-apocalypse sceptres of wrath — for it is holiday time again, albeit only fleetingly. Remind me to tackle DO12 the moment I get back.

I shall check in around 5pm for suggestions of things to look out for on my bon vacances, and hopefully return alive some time next week with a post based on my favourite vista to be.

If you’re new around here, this is how it works. If you’ve been round the block a few times, do please stop smirking and waving that cucumber around.

It does rather depend on where you're going: Dungeness or Dunkirk, Bournemouth or Boulogne. Or maybe you're off somewhere exotic this time like Egypt or Majorca.

A photo of you wielding an anti-apocolypse sceptre of wrath while wearing your stripey socks is always welcome.

Er... cat pics are always nice. Cats in faraway places looking kitty like and happy under the sunshine that's eluded blighty so far (I don't count the past weekend of scorchio weather because it was all a dream because look outside now. Rain. Cloud. Grayness. Yuck).

So yes. Cats in faraway foreign climes. They make good pics.

Have a great holiday!!!!!!!
take care

Are you going to Hastings again?
Or haven't you decided yet?

I desire photographs of faraway food full of fat.

A picture of you in your socks or your kilt, in whatever locale.

Would really like to see "the scepter of wrath..."

The kilt, please. Don't shave your legs.

I'm with Sylvia. Swiss pastries look the business and taste like fluffed-up cardboard. If you are anywhere in the Anglo-Irish-Welsh-Scottish world, post pics of tasty pastries.

Kilt-with-hairy-legs-and-striped-socks thing runs a close second.

And animals. And UFOs. And if your camera allows you to film (even if it's against your will like FHH's :) you could film an author having something accepted by an editor if you happen to see one. I'm still looking for evidence to support the notion that this actually sometimes happens.

Have a great time!

It looks like the biggest vote is for the kilt with stripy socks and hairy legs!
